Welcome to Amp Your Music

So you want to start a band?

Or maybe you've got a band, and you're wondering how to get it off the ground. You want to know how to get your music "out of the basement". You want to know how to succeed with your music. And you're dying to make a living doing what you love.

I've been there.

I'm certainly not (YET) the most successful musician of all time. But there is an advantage to having one foot in the "success" camp, and one foot in the "struggling" camp. I still know what it's like to play a show and have no one but you and the staff show up. I still remember what it's like to try to play any place that you possibly can.

But I also know what it's like to have hundreds of people at a concert we organized entirely ourselves. I know what it's like to open for bands like KC & The Sunshine Band, or to share the stage with people like the Gin Blossoms and Sister Hazel. I know what it's like to play the college market, traveling across the country in your van. I even know what it's like to get booked for a USO tour.

And I can help you out.

One of the keys to success that most bands and musicians totally ignore is the element of cooperation and collaboration. There is strength in numbers, and two musicians or bands working together are much stronger than either one working alone. So it is important for you to support other musicians who have similar goals.

And that's why it's important for me to able to share some of my experience with you. The more I can help you out, the stronger we will all be.
